A patient medication report is an official document prepared by a doctor to ensure the continuous supply of medications needed for chronic illnesses or long-term treatments. This report allows you to:
- Medicines can be covered by SGK (Social Security Institution).
- Medicines can be purchased without a prescription or with periodic prescriptions.
- Pharmacies may provide discounted or free medication (depending on the disease and medication).
Where to Get a Medication Report?
The drug report is prepared by specialist doctors in the following health institutions , depending on the relevant disease :
- Private hospitals with agreements with SGK
- State hospitals
- Training and research hospitals
- University hospitals
How to Get a Patient Medication Report?
- Consulting a specialist: You must be examined by a specialist in the relevant field (e.g. cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, endocrinology).
- Testing and evaluation: If the doctor decides that medication is needed based on your disease history and test results, he or she will prepare a report.
- Health board report (for some medications): In some cases, approval from not only a specialist physician but also a full-fledged hospital health board is required.
- It is processed in the e-prescription system: The report is defined in the e-pulse system and the SSI system.
- Go to the pharmacy with the report: Medicines can be obtained with or without a prescription.
- While a single doctor's report is sufficient for some diseases, a medical board report is required for others.

Yes, you can view all medication reports from the e-Nabız system and download them as PDFs.
Can it be purchased from every pharmacy?
Certified medications can be purchased from all pharmacies across Türkiye. Some medications may require a prescription.
Can it be purchased without a prescription?
While some prescription medications can be purchased without a prescription, others require a prescription each time. This varies depending on the type of medication.
Can generic medicine be given?
Yes. Depending on the active ingredient stated in your report, equivalent (similar) medications covered by SGK may be prescribed.
Can someone else take the medicine?
Yes. The patient's relative can also purchase the medication from the pharmacy with their ID and report.
Can a private hospital issue a medication report?
