In order to comply with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Regulation on Personal Health Data (“Regulation”) and related legal regulations, this Disclosure Text has been prepared by “Özel Han Tıp Merkezi ve Sağlık Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi” (“Ankara Magnet Hospital”) within the scope of the data controller’s obligation to inform.
Which Personal Data Do We Collect and Process?
- Identity Information (your name, surname, Turkish ID number, passport number or temporary ID number, place and date of birth, marital status, gender, insurance or patient protocol number, and other identity data that can identify you)
- Contact Information (address, phone number, email address, and other contact data; voice recordings kept according to call center standards by customer representatives or patient services; personal data obtained when contacting us via email, letter, or other means)
- Accounting-related Information (bank account number, IBAN, credit card details, billing information; data related to private health insurance and Social Security Institution for financing and planning healthcare services)
- Camera footage recorded for security and monitoring purposes when you visit our hospital
- Vehicle plate information if you use our parking facilities
- Health Information (laboratory results, test results, examination data, appointment details, check-up information, prescription information, and any other health and sexual life-related personal data obtained during or as a result of medical diagnosis, treatment, and care services)
- If you apply for a job at Ankara Magnet Hospital, your personal data including your CV
- If you are an employee or related personnel, all personal data regarding your employment and suitability for the job

All personal data obtained by Ankara Magnet Hospital may be processed for the following purposes:

Within the scope of our company’s commercial and administrative activities, your personal data may be processed in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK and relevant provisions of the Regulation, and may vary depending on the nature of these activities.
Your personal data is processed within the scope of healthcare services and the company’s administrative, commercial, and economic activities; including job application collection and recruitment processes, contacting customers and potential customers, organizing and managing events, fulfilling legal obligations, protecting public health, preventive healthcare, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and managing healthcare services and their financing.
To Whom and For What Purposes Are Your Personal Data Transferred?
Your personal data may be transferred by Ankara Magnet Hospital, within the purposes listed above, to business units and relevant departments for performing necessary services, to execute commercial or scientific strategies, and to ensure legal, technical, and commercial security of related parties; to private insurance companies, Ministry of Health and its subunits, Social Security Institution, General Directorate of Security and other law enforcement authorities, General Directorate of Population, Turkish Pharmacists’ Association, courts and judicial authorities, central and other third parties, authorized representatives, lawyers, tax and financial advisors, auditors, regulatory and supervisory authorities, and our business partners and third parties cooperating to provide or improve healthcare services, to Electronic Medical Records and Electronic Health Records systems, company servers and data storage units, company software applications, and backup systems, within the scope of Articles 8 and 9 of the Law and the purposes of personal data transfer. Transfers may be made domestically or abroad when necessary.
Your personal data that we process is shared only with the relevant departments, authorized personnel within those departments, and our business partners, strictly in line with the purpose of processing and to ensure security.
What Are the Rights of the Data Subject?
Within the scope of personal data processed by Ankara Magnet Hospital, the data subject has the rights specified in Article 11 of KVKK and Article 10 of the Regulation. You may apply to Ankara Magnet Hospital to:
- Learn whether your personal and/or health data is processed
- Request information if your personal and/or health data has been processed
- Access and obtain your personal health data
- Learn the purpose of processing your personal and/or health data and whether it is being used accordingly
- Know the third parties to whom your personal and/or health data has been transferred, domestically or abroad
- Request correction if your personal and/or health data is incomplete or inaccurate
- Request deletion or destruction of personal data as per Article 7 of KVKK and deletion of personal health data in accordance with Article 9 of the Regulation
- Request notification of third parties to whom data has been transferred as per clauses (f) and (g) of this Article
- Object to results arising from automated processing of your data
- Request compensation in case of damages due to unlawful processing of your personal data
You can submit your requests by filling out the “Application Form to the Data Controller” on the company’s website and verifying your identity using one of the methods specified in the form.
